The result is often work that is rushed, under-specified, or treated as an afterthought. We took a different approach — focusing exclusively on loft insulation and loft improvement so that every job receives the attention it requires.

Why We Publish Our Prices

The loft insulation industry has long suffered from pricing opacity. Homeowners typically receive a single lump-sum quote with no breakdown of the work involved. It is difficult to compare quotes meaningfully, and hidden costs are common. We address this directly by publishing our square-metre rates for every service we offer, so you can work out a realistic figure before you speak to anyone. The result is a purchasing experience where every cost is visible and verifiable before any work begins.

LoftFix remains the installer, the accountable party, and the point of contact throughout — with full transparency and control for the customer.

Our Approach to Specification

Every loft is different. Roof pitch, joist depth, existing insulation, ventilation provision, boarding arrangement, and access conditions all vary from property to property. We begin every project with a satellite-based assessment to measure the loft and calculate material quantities remotely — around 90% of projects are quoted this way without a site visit. Ventilation, condensation, and other loft-specific considerations are then evaluated and addressed on the day of installation at no extra cost.

How We Interact With Customers

We do not operate through call centres, intermediaries, or automated booking systems. When you contact LoftFix, you speak directly with us. When we quote, we explain exactly what we recommend and why. When we carry out the work, we treat your home with the same respect we would expect in our own. If, during the work, we find something unexpected, we discuss it with you before proceeding.
